VTCT Level 3 Diploma Baby Massage Teacher (QCF)This Course is accredited by VTCT where participants are taught the benefits of infant massage and massage sequences specifically designed for infants. Following training you will be required to undertake a written assignment, practical assessment & Case studies. This course will be beneficial for therapists, healthcare & childcare professionals as well as those looking for a rewarding and new career. Entry Requirements: Candidates for this qualification should have an understanding of massage and anatomy & Physiology. Knowledge of infant anatomy & physiology is required for competence. Assessment: During training, you will be visually and verbally assessed throughout on your practical and theoretical work and given a comprehensive training manual to support your learning. After training, you will be required to undertake a number of case studies and assignments in your own time. Evidence for teaching baby massage can be obtained through working with groups and individuals in various locations, with witness testimonials from health care professionals and participants. You will be required to attend the centre (a mutually agreed date) to have an observed assessment, submit your portfolio and take a short multiple choice exam on health and safety if required (please see below). All your work will be recorded in a portfolio which upon completion will be verified. Tutor support and contact is given throughout the course. This Course includes essential VTCT Level 3 Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology Diploma and Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards which will require you to complete a project and attend a multiple choice exam. Please note that if you already hold this qualification and it is valid (within last 3 years) you do not have to repeat but will be required to produce evidence and sit the exam.
