The Living Well Festival
The Living Well Festival takes place on Sunday 7th September 2008 in the grounds of Shrewsbury Castle. The theme of Living Well is to encourage a healthier, happier and more balanced lifestyle.
There will be demonstrations of Yoga, Pilates, Qi Yong, Nia dance, Eastern ‘belly’ dancing, holistic therapy treatments available such as Indian Head Massage, Hand & Foot Massage, Aromatherapy, Crystals, Bowen Technique and Health Kinesiology. There will be workshops on Sound Healing, Meditation and amazing Taiko Drumming. A selection of produce will be available to try and buy.
Living Well also offers a day of diverse live music. From the music of Simon and Garfunkel tribute, through to Japanese Taiko Rangers and traditional Indian Bhajans, meditation and chants from the Amma Group, plus renowned local musicians Whalebone and Susan Raven playing a range of styles from jazz to folk to modern pop, throughout the day.
Entry is only £1 (minimum donation), with all proceeds going to the Lingen Davies Cancer Centre Appeal and British Red Cross. We intend to inspire and promote a holistic approach to living well and enjoying life.

VTCT Accreditation
Solace have recently been approved with VTCT accreditation. VTCT has been in existence for over forty years and has been at the forefront of developing the vocational system of qualifications in the United Kingdom. IIHHT (International Institute of Health & Holistic Therapies) qualifications are internationally recognised external qualifications awarded by VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust).
